bronx students discuss obama's race speech

Hearing these kids talk brought back memories of the kids who I grew up around in the South Bronx. All I remember thinking during my early years was how I couldn’t wait to get out of my neighborhood… mainly because there weren’t many positive options.

It’s so inspiring to hear how these kids are inspired to be their best. How one person can make them truly believe that they can be anything they want to be. I’m not sure if anyone can appreciate what that means unless they’ve come from those streets… but it’s completely “wonderful.”

ZADI DIAZ

Hi, I'm Zadi Diaz. Welcome to my personal blog.

I'm the co-creator and host of EPIC FU. I'm not your typical technophile. I love the sun, don't take myself too seriously, and I'm obsessed with video cameras, photography, music, aesthetics, and unconventional thinking. I'm attracted to weirdly/highly creative people. I teach people about social media & web video from first-hand experience. I think technology is cool as long as it works. I want to make the world a better place. I love to travel. I love to test my senses. I can be mean-funny. Chocolate makes me very happy. I believe that the best gift you can give anyone is your time.

If you want a more professional approach, you can check my LinkedIn profile. This is just for fun.
